St. Isabella’s Parish School of Religion – Elementary Grades 1 thru 5

Classes meet on Sunday mornings, 10:15-11:15 October thru May.

Class content for grades 1 through 5 focuses on God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Sacraments, the Church, and morality. Concept development fits student’s maturity and encourages an active faith life of the child and his/her family through regular attendance at mass.

Preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation and 1st Eucharist begins with attendance in 1st grade and culminates in focused preparation in 2nd grade. Continued religious education and faith formation throughout the elementary grades ensures a solid foundation for Confirmation preparation in Junior High.

~ Food & toy drives

~ Visits to Senior Center

~ Greeting cards

~ Other service projects based on needs of greater community

Community Building:

~ Parent meetings

~ Various parish activities scheduled throughout the year.
